Above all, Kate enjoys talking and listening to children. She has a special interest in high conflict cases and seeks out a creative problem solving with a kind but firm approach.

Kate has presented at the Sonoma County Bar Association Minor’s Counsel annual training and at the Mental Health Liaison Brown Bag trainings. She presented last year at the American Family Conciliatory Courts (AFCC) conference. Her other presentations in the community include topics such as: preventing child sexual abuse, positive parenting, and interviewing children.

Kate is passionate about helping each individual child succeed. Her belief is that children deserve to have a thriving relationship with both parents.

Kate incorporates parenting tips and support as an integral part of the counseling process. Success can not be defined by achievement but rather developing skills for a positive future.
